I
joined a school trip to Yunan during the summer holiday and visited a local
school. The school life in Yunan is different from mine in Hong Kong. The
pupils are facing many problems.
The
classrooms are too small. The environment is too bad. It is too dark and too
cold in winter because they do not have heaters and lights. The space in the
classrooms is too small so all the students in the classrooms were crowded.
They
do not have enough stationery too. Such as, pencils, pens and rubbers. Also,
they do not have any paper for writing. The children in Hong Kong have a lot of
paper so we mustn’t waste it.
Thirdly,
there are not enough facilities and there are very few teachers because most of
the teachers think Yunan is a poor city so that they went to teach in cities.
If
we want to solve all the problems in Yunan, we must do more donation. For
example, raise money and donate money to charity so that the studying
environment in Yunan can be improved.
The
Yunan Government can ask more teachers to teach in Yunan with higher salary.
Also, she can provide a good studying environment for the pupils.
